JAN 16 | CULTURE: How to Build the Organizational Culture You Want
8:00AM - 12:00PM at ZingTrain
We all have a culture... but is it the culture we want?
***Featuring a rare appearance by Paul Saginaw, Zingerman's Co-Owner, Founding Partner & Chief Spiritual Officer! ***
At Zingerman’s, we're known for our organizational culture and we often get asked...
"How do you keep staff engaged?"
"How does everyone know your mission?"
"Where do you find staff who provide such amazing service?"
While we touch on our organizational culture in ALL of our 2-day seminars, something we don't talk about as often is a class we ofter internally, called "Welcome to the Zingerman's Community of Businesses." We teach it to EVERY single person we hire and the only two people who teach it are our Co-Founders, Ari Weinzweig and Paul Saginaw. The class is a hugely formative part of making our culture what it is.
In this workshop, you'll have the chance to experience our exclusive "Welcome to the Zingerman's Community of Businesses” class (the first time we've offered it externally!) AND hear more about how we create and teach the key elements of our culture to our staff. From Paul Saginaw himself. Then, best of all, you’ll get to draft your very own orientation class under the guidance of Paul and one of our Co-Managing Partners, Katie Frank!
Come to this 4-hour Workshop to:
- Understand why our Founding Partners are the only people who teach our "Welcome to the Zingerman’s Community of Businesses" class and why we believe a good orientation is key to creating the culture we want.
- Learn the 5 elements of building an organizational culture and how to use them to strengthen YOUR organizational culture.
- Create an outline for your very own orientation class.
- Call upon a network of peers to help get past roadblocks.
Our training facility is located HERE - in the heart of Zingerman’s Southside campus, just a scone’s throw away from Zingerman’s Bakehouse, Zingerman's Candy Manufactory, Zingerman’s Coffee Company, and Zingerman’s Creamery. We don’t actually advocate throwing scones at them, but you can stop by to pick up lunch, a cappuccino, some peanut brittle or a half pound of fresh cream cheese after the workshop!
Workshops run from 8AM - 12NOON. We'll have a light breakfast and plenty of coffee waiting for you from 7:30AM onwards.
