Courageous Conversations

Regardless of how great our workplace is, it's natural that interpersonal conflict arises between individuals. Maybe someone said something that hurt your feelings or they left you hanging on a work project. Rather than shy away from saying anything, or waiting until you blow up in anger, we'll give you tools to consider your next steps.

In this workshop, we begin with the decision about whether or not it's time for you to Go Direct and have a courageous conversation. Then we share tools for preparing yourself before diving into the steps for engaging in the conversation.

We conclude the workshop with a supportive, breakout-room-based role play, giving you the change to practice before testing out these new tools on real-life situations. We find that taking the time to practice having courageous conversations helps foster a work environment that encourages respectful and effective dialogue during times of conflict.
