Space is limited to 50 people, as we're planning a super hands-on, interactive and totally fun experience, full of good food from all of the Zingerman's businesses. Chad is an Associate Professor at the University of Michigan where he is the Director of Pain Research and the Director of Clinical Anesthesia Research. He is co-lead for three major NIH grants studying pain concepts and a co-director of the Michigan Opioid Prescribing Engagement Network (Michigan OPEN, www.michigan-OPEN.org ). In addition to developing a preventive approach to the opioid epidemic by tailoring opioid prescribing, Chad and his team are working to remove excess opioids from Michigan communities by organizing statewide opioid recovery drives and creating opioid disposal strategies. A champion of Servant Leadership and Zingerman’s customer service approach, Chad helped lead cultural transformation in a clinic that has turned patient (and staff) satisfaction scores from among the lowest to one of the highest in the University of Michigan medical system.

Mike Ganino is a culture + storytelling expert who helps leaders and organization communicate, connect, and engage. He is the author of Company Culture for Dummies and has been named a top 30 Culture Speaker by Global Guru. In addition to his track record as an executive in the hotel, restaurant, retail, and tech industries, Mike’s worked with organizations like the American Marketing Association, Disney, and Uber. After witnessing his engaging session at last year’s event, we knew we needed him back this year. Ladies and gentleman, please welcome Mike Ganino.

Elizabeth Wilder is the President of Anthony Wilder Design/Build (AWDB), a renowned architecture, interior design and construction firm that has emerged as one of the most sought-after residential design/build firms in the Washington, D.C. area. Along with her husband and Founder, Anthony Wilder, Liz leads the 50-person team of architects, interior designers, and builders with award-winning results. Named a Top Small Workplace by The Wall Street Journal and Winning Workplaces in 2009, AWDB has long been recognized for their superior design and high-quality construction, and for progressive business practices, such as Open Book Management (OBM). Liz has shared her views on business, leadership and OBM on MSNBC, Forbes.com, Kiplinger’s Finance in addition to many other business, design, and lifestyle publications. Looking towards the future and with succession planning in mind, Liz and Anthony recently made a conscious decision to change the culture of their company when they decided to offer the opportunity for staff the opportunity to become managing partners.

If you need to cancel a ZingTrain 2-Day Seminar or 4-Hour Workshop with more than 14 days notice, we will happily give you a full refund (although we will be sad not to see you!) or credit towards a future session. Within 7-14 days we will refund 50%; no refunds for cancellations with less than 7 days notice. Credits expire after 5 years.
